Promising
Practices of Safe Start Demonstration Sites (November 2006)
This report was developed by Community Science for the Office of Juvenile Justice
and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) for the Safe Start Initiative.
This
report consists of 31 new verified promising practices from all
11 demonstration sites. The report also contains a few practices
to "watch for." These practices were deemed promising based on expectations
of future success. Additionally, several ideas for outreach and
education products that sites considered useful were identified.
